Easy Star All‑Stars Announce West Coast Tour Dates and Support Slot for Geese

Geese, one of the most talked about indie rock bands on the planet, recently announced their Getting Killed Again tour, handpicking Easy Star All-Stars as one of the support acts. In a video interview with Rolling Stone about the tour, the members of Geese called out Easy Star All-Stars as one of the opening bands they are most excited to see, citing the DUB SIDE OF THE MOON album as a personal favorite, which they all discovered in high school. Needless to say, Easy Star All-Stars are excited, too! The band will open Geese’s sold out shows in Salt Lake City, Denver, Kansas City, and Chicago from October 27 – 31. Easy Star decided to lean into the run, setting up 11 headlining shows leading into (and during) the Geese shows, which will be the celebrated group’s first extended west coast tour in a few years. Each headlining show will include a complete play of the DUB SIDE OF THE MOON album, along with plenty of their other reggae re-inventions of classic songs by Radiohead, David Bowie, The Beatles, and Michael Jackson. For six of the shows, Easy Star Records labelmate Double Tiger will open. At another, Man Like Devin, of Easy Star Records labelmates The Expanders, will open the show. Blending musical versatility, instrumental prowess, beautiful vocal harmonies, and a premier rhythm section, Easy Star All-Stars have established themselves as one of the top international reggae acts on the scene for over two decades. During this time, they’ve toured in over 30 countries on 6 continents bringing together fans of reggae, classic rock, dub, and indie rock into one big family. In 2023, the band released ZIGGY STARDUB, its latest album in its best-selling series of tribute albums. The series began with DUB SIDE OF THE MOON (2003), the critically acclaimed reggae re-working of the classic Pink Floyd album, then continued with RADIODREAD (2006), EASY STAR'S LONELY HEARTS DUB BAND (2009), and EASY STAR'S THRILLAH (2012), as well as the remix album DUBBER SIDE OF THE MOON (2010). ESA have also released two original collections, UNTIL THAT DAY EP (2008) and FIRST LIGHT (2011), since forming in the early 2000s. They’ve also remixed a number of songs by major artists including Janelle Monae, Jason Mraz, Kelly Clarkson, MARINA, Jax, and Dhani Harrison.
