THE SKINTS announce new album and rescheduled UK tour

The Skints have announced that their long-awaited new album "Sour Tooth" will be released on February 5th, 2027, via Easy Star Records, with their upcoming tour rescheduled to coincide with the release at well.

The band has spent several years working on the new record and had originally planned to release it in time for their forthcoming tour. However, production and delivery delays outside the band’s control mean the album will not be ready in time for the original dates.

Rather than proceed with the tour before fans have heard the record, The Skints decided to move the dates to February, giving fans the opportunity to learn the new songs before hearing them live.

The SOUR TOOTH tour will now begin on February 11th 2027, shortly after the album’s release. The band’s previously scheduled show in Alton on October 7th is unaffected and will go ahead as planned.

All tickets purchased for the original tour dates will remain valid for the rescheduled shows. Fans who are unable to attend the new dates can obtain a refund from their original point of purchase.

The Skints said they wanted to avoid compromising on something they had spent years building towards: "We want you to have heard it all, know the songs and sing with us. We want you to leave the shows with the record in your hands."
