As a standout offering from our project THE BRIDGE REMIXED, the Evton B Remix of “Neva Bow” reimagines Indubious' powerful collaboration with the late Bay Area hip-hop legend Zumbi of Zion I. The original track, featured on the band's 2021 album THE BRIDGE, showcased their signature blend of spiritual, organic reggae infused with electronica and dancehall. For this updated version, Indubious co-founder Evton B took on the remixing duties himself, carefully rebuilding the production to create a heavy, atmospheric backdrop that perfectly underscores Zumbi's commanding vocal delivery.
Beyond its rhythmic energy, the single carries significant emotional weight. The original vocal session was one of Zumbi's final recordings before his sudden passing in 2021, prompting Evton B to craft this remix specifically as a tribute to the West Coast rap giant. The result is a poignant and hard-hitting record that honors Zumbi's legacy while highlighting the deep collaborative spirit and genre-blurring innovation that defines both Indubious and our broader Easy Star roster.
