The Easy Star All-Stars will be returning to the Southeast this May and June for a new run of live shows. While the band has currently announced four initial dates, additional stops will be added to the tour schedule in the coming weeks. This upcoming run offers fans across the region a solid opportunity to catch the veteran reggae-dub collective back on the road as they build out their summer itinerary.
A key highlight of this tour will be select performances featuring a complete, front-to-back live rendition of Dub Side of the Moon. These specific shows will allow audiences to experience the band’s well-known reggae interpretation of Pink Floyd’s classic album in its entirety. The live arrangement brings the record’s intricate dub rhythms and atmospheric effects to the stage, translating the studio album into an engaging live concert experience.
In addition to the Dub Side material, the band will be performing their trademark blend of reggae-infused covers throughout the tour. Setlists will include their unique, dub-heavy takes on classic albums including Radiodread (Radiohead), Easy Star’s Lonely Hearts Dub Band (The Beatles), and Thrillah (Michael Jackson). Tickets for the currently announced dates are officially on sale now.
