DOWN TO EARTH REMIXES BY GENTLEMAN’S DUB CLUB

Gentleman’s Dub Club continues to be one of the biggest live concert draws in the UK reggae scene and a leader in the genre for delivering great studio tracks packed with both traditional sounds and experimental boundary pushing. The group follows up their critically-praised 2021 album DOWN TO EARTH with a 6-song EP of remixes and dubs of favorites from that release. This includes remixes from the band itself, along with Canada’s Dubmatix, their old Leeds running mates Iration Steppas, and drum & bass DJs Bish and Gray. One notable track unlike any other in the current scene is the remix by Victor Rice, featuring Brazilian deejay Monkey Jhayam doing a Portuguese translation of “Castle In The Sky,” sure to catch ears in Brazil and continue to build GDC’s worldwide profile.
