Clinton Fearon

Clinton Fearon is a legendary Jamaican singer, bassist, and songwriter best known for his foundational role in the iconic roots reggae band The Gladiators. Joining the group in 1969, his distinctive voice and heavy basslines were instrumental to the band's massive success throughout the golden era of roots reggae at Studio One.

After relocating to Seattle, Washington in the late 1980s, Fearon embarked on a highly successful solo career. With his effortlessly smooth vocal delivery and mastery of acoustic, stripped-down roots music, he remains a globally respected elder statesman of Jamaican music and a mesmerizing live performer.
