L.A.B present a Deluxe edition of their new album, L.A.B VI. The release brings four brand new versions of tracks from the album – recorded live with horns & string sections expanding the sound. Hugely anticipated by their fan base, the new recordings add to the 11 tracks on L.A.B VI, an album which is already their strongest to date.
L.A.B VI (Deluxe) arrives after the original debuted at Number One on the Official NZ Album Charts, L.A.B’s fourth consecutive Number One album. 2024 has already seen L.A.B perform a series of sold-out summer shows at home in NZ, alongside two capacity shows in Hawaii, and a return performance at the marquee Byron Bay Bluesfest in Australia. The new release comes in advance of 14 shows in the United States through April/May, including a return visit to the California Roots Festival.
Whittled down from nearly 30 total tracks, the songs featured on L.A.B VI are a welcome addition to an already beloved catalogue. Incorporating all aspects of the band’s unique sound, the album combines reggae/roots & soul with funk & elements of rock. Featuring the singles ‘Take It Away’, ‘Casanova,’ & ‘Oh No (Pt. 2)’.
