Ever since starting as teenagers in East London, The Skints have been considered one of the best live bands of their generation. Clawing their way up from the UK ska/punk underground has led to long years of touring. It's no surprise then that the band's newest single, “Home”," the first from the upcoming album SOUR TOOTH, talks about the disorientation of being on tour as much as they have. "You spend so much of your life on the road that it becomes your 'normal' and you end up torn between two places," says vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Marcia Richards. Musically the single is a good preview of the album, mixing genres as effortlessly as they always do. Expect the unexpected from this new album but know that it will always sound like The Skints.
