If you need a new song to kick off your Memorial Day Weekend festivities, then Grammy-nominated reggae/rock band Rebelution has you covered. The band just released “Patience,” the final single from their forthcoming sixth studio album, Free Rein. The sultry slow burner is a reggae-R&B hybrid that eases you into a trance enabled by Eric Rachmany’s distinguished, buttery vocals. PRESS HERE to listen to now and catch yourself nodding your head along to the meticulous beat.
According to Eric, “Patience is a song about a personal and intimate moment whilst trying to get to know someone. There are so many distractions in our everyday lives with technology, gadgets and also the judgement from people about who we surround ourselves with. This song is about a moment when all of those distractions fall away and its just you and that one person have a free and intimate experience together.”
Since the beginning of the year, Rebelution has been dropping a new song on the last Friday of every month to celebrate the anticipated release of Free Rein with each track showing a different side of legendary band (previous releases include “Celebrate,” “City Life” and “Healing”). The new album will be released on June 15th as the fourth joint venture between their 87 Music label and NYC-based Easy Star Records. Click the buttons below to pre-order now.
