Romain Virgo

Romain Virgo is a celebrated Jamaican singer who rose to national prominence in 2007 as the youngest contestant to win the Digicel Rising Stars competition. Specializing in the "lovers rock" style of reggae, he has become known for his smooth, soulful vocals and heartfelt songwriting. Since his debut, he has built an impressive discography with popular tracks like "Soul Provider," "Love Doctor," and his soulful cover of Sam Smith's "Stay With Me," establishing himself as a leading voice in modern reggae music.   Beyond his solo success, Virgo is a prolific collaborator within the reggae and dancehall scenes, frequently working with artists such as Jesse Royal, Etana, and Protoje. His music often balances romantic themes with social consciousness, as heard in tracks like "No Money" and "Mi Caan Sleep." With a career spanning nearly two decades, he continues to headline international tours and release new music, including his recent contributions to the 2025 album No Place Like Home with Jesse Royal.
