Nitty Gritty

Nitty Gritty (born Glen Augustus Hollis, 1957–1991) was a Jamaican dancehall deejay and singer who rose to prominence in the mid-1980s. Known for hits like "Hog Inna Mi Minty" and "Sweet Reggae Music," he was part of the vibrant Kingston dancehall scene alongside contemporaries like Tenor Saw and Super Cat. His career was tragically cut short when he was killed in New York at age 33.
