Iration Steppas

Iration Steppas are absolute giants of the UK sound system culture, founded by Mark Iration and Dennis Rootical in Leeds during the early 1990s. Unapologetically heavy and explicitly futuristic, they single-handedly revolutionized the dub scene by blending classic Jamaican reggae with intense, aggressive electronic elements, popularizing what would become known as "UK Steppers" or "Year 3000 Dub."

Armed with their own legendary, custom-built sound system, their live events are famously intense, featuring earth-shaking bass frequencies and completely relentless digital riddims. Iration Steppas remain globally revered innovators and central pillars of the underground bass music community.
