THE BRAND-NEW HIGH HOPES REMIX BRINGS TOGETHER SELECTA J-MAN & EVA LAZARUS ON ONE INCREDIBLE TRACK
These drum & bass remixes of “High Hopes” were crafted by Selecta J-Man, of Bristol, England’s Born on Road crew. It first appeared in the second half of the official music video released earlier in 2023, which inspired Gentleman’s Dub Club to begin playing it live as part of their set this year, going from the original version into the remix half way through, which became a big highlight of this year’s shows. Selecta J-Man has remixed artists including Protoje, Solo Banton, Deadly Hunta, London Posse, YT, Charlie P, Eva Lazarus, Gardna, and others.
“We wrote this tune a couple of years ago for a jungle project with The Nextmen and Selecta J-Man. That version never got released but we loved the topline so picked it up again for this album. It was therefore only right we asked Selecta J-Man to do the jungle remix and unsurprisingly – this version is pure fire!
