Junior Delgado

Junior Delgado (1958–2005) was an incredibly powerful, profoundly influential Jamaican roots reggae singer known exclusively for his incredibly raw, raspy, and deeply emotive "gruff" vocal style. Emerging prominently in the late 1970s alongside legendary producer Dennis Brown, his incredibly passionate delivery earned him massive respect as a deeply uncompromising roots artist.
