“I wrote this tune as a ‘f*** you’ to my ex. It was a cathartic process!” says Johnny from GDC about their latest single, “Gone.” “I wanted to find a way of celebrating the fact it was over rather than the standard break-up song, so chose an upbeat and positive sound, which seems to work really well with the cutting lyrics.”
