OFF WORLD – NEW ALBUM FROM FLYING VIPERS COMING THIS APRIL
Weâre proud to be releasing Off World, the third full-length album (and first on Easy Star) from Flying Vipers, on April 11th, 2025. After 10 years of instrumental dubwise reggae, the next chapter of the band has arrived, with new addition Kellee Webbâs soulful lead vocals adding depth to the Vipersâ cassette-crafted sound. Pre-orders and pre-saves of Off World begin today, in conjunction with the release of the albumâs second single, âBelievers & Deceivers.â Flying Vipers record murky dub-inflected reggae on a Tascam 8-track in their basement bunker outside Boston, MA. Their love of Jamaican and UK 70âs roots and dub is their north star, but [...]
FLYING VIPERS DEBUT ON EASY STAR
We are very excited to release our first collaboration with New England-based dub reggae collective Flying Vipers. Self-produced on a vintage cassette 4-track, "Show Me" introduces the soulful voice of Kellee Webb, whose dynamic presence brings extra depth to the Vipersâ signature, roots-inspired sound. Since establishing their distinctively analog, classic dub style in 2015, Flying Vipers have continued to sharpen their cuts, hinting at a Stax-meets-Channel One vibe. This is the first single from an upcoming full-length dropping in 2025. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSIxyaP_3Fk&list=OLAK5uy_kvhrisOvJexTPG7_b-TharA2JL66GAAuA
